Ariana Grande has one less problem to trouble her. "Sam & Cat", a Nickelodeon show she stars with Jennette McCurdy, has just been cancelled. The show has only been around for one season, but a report from Deadline states that it has now been cancelled due to an abundance of conflicts.
In March, McCurdy refused to show up at the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards, which was held in Los Angeles, since she had some issues with Nickelodeon. Rumor has it that the present chart-topper Ariana Grande is receiving a salary that is much higher than what McCurdy gets. However, Grande claims that the salary she gets is the same with that of McCurdy's.

Ariana Grande said on her Twitter account, "Jennette and I agreed upfront that we would be treated equally on this show in all regards (as we should be, considering we each work just as hard as the other on this show." The 20-year-old "Problem" singer also previously tweeted in April, "The rumors circulating about our contracts and our salary not being equal are absolutely ridiculous and false. I don't know who's putting these idiotic quotes out there, but I thought I'd straighten it out and try to end this nonsense."
Nickelodeon, one of today's top-rated children's networks, did not provide much of a reason with regards to the reason behind the cancellation of McCurdy's and Ariana Grande's show. The network said in a statement, "Nickelodeon will not be producing more episodes of Sam & Cat. We are very proud of the show and its very talented cast and we wish them the best."
Ariana Grande and McCurdy will be seen by their fans as Sam & Cat for the last time in the show's 36th episode entitled, "#GettingWiggy." Despite being cancelled during the show's early stages, it was actually one of the highest-rated shows of the network. It had McCurdy's Sam character from "iCarly" and Ariana Grande's Cat character from yet another hit Nickelodeon show, "Victorious."
